The update, so far, has combat removed. (Players can still choose to implement it). This means the game is more about how the town develops economically. Military is still important, however and contributes to security. Security is a new value that determines the outcome of certain cards - beneficial with high values or detrimental with low values.

Hi Palimach,
After a chaotic year I was able to test the game with an added value to build on the existing version.
Unfortunately after several tests this addition seemed to overly complicate the game - at least for a pen and paper game anyway.
I feel any other additions I attempt to make to the current version would have the same impact (unless it went digital).
Regardless, I really appreciate the interest you’ve shown and expressed in Cob&Cobble.
