I think you have no concept how vague you were in your post. There are near a million "games" on itch. And those games "from" itch have nothing in common besides being hosted there. It would not make a difference, if you got the game from itch, a message board, a file hoster, a mail from the developer or a usb stick you found on the street.

So unless the games you play share something significant, no one will be able to help you. Are all those games made in the same engine perhaps? I think some unity games call their executeable game.exe if the developers were lazy.

And no, there is not a gaming pc on earth that would be able to handle a very badly programmed game chunking itself against a wall. But several games doing that are suspicous. You did try the usual anti malware search pattern, did you?

To have a guesswork, you do not unzip the games properly and run them in temp folder or within the zip file, resulting in odd behaviour. Or some other obscure stuff. But also likely is, that something on your system is clogging up. And that can include anti virus apps. Assuming windows, just use your task manager to look at ressources, if something odd is happening.

Otherwise, it usually is an issue with the games in particular. So find the common thing of those games. Or do you claim you play all sorts of games and all of them stop running?!
