Your daughter has died and is buried in your backyard. Your wife is about to succumb to the clutches of a ravaging and merciless plague. As an honorable man, you have no other option but to leave your humble abode and try to find a cure. Rumors are floating around that there is a remedy out there, somewhere… So, you set out on a quest to desperately find it. A pursuit that leads you to a far-flung city, monks, mazes, and lots and lots of mystery. Will you find the potion? Will you survive the onslaught of the dead, the desperate and the demons? Only one way to find out. Buy the game and play it.

Niven Hedinger has outclassed himself once more, by releasing a game that invites you to immerse yourself in times long gone, and to feel the pain of a desperate and desolate man.

Cons:

  • Some of the dialogues turn the game into a static experience. How about ‘Walk & Talk?’

  • Wandering around town with a lantern is quite difficult as the light has a sharp fall-off and makes finding your way around a big challenge.

  • LMB interacts and shoots arrows once the crossbow is obtained at the same time [minor issue]

Pros:

  • Wonderful story

  • Great graphics

  • Immersive action/s

  • ½ hour well spent in finding your way out of everything

  • Unexpected, but understandable end of the game

Therefore, a big thumbs up. Well done, Niven!

I was highly anticipating your comment and it just made my day! Thank you Daniel! Thanks a lot for giving such a well crafted review and comment, I can't describe the happiness, honestly.
In the future projects I will definitely consider the cons. Honestly, I'm done with the medieval atmosphere, as of now, which means, regular, spooky games will be served weekly, at least monthly from now on.
Best to you and can't wait for another video! Salut 🍷

I'm known as an honest man [according to those who know me]. I can't butter up to anyone, and that directness also lands me in hot water, as most people don't want to hear the truth. They want to hear niceties. When I see and/or experience niceties, I will say so. When things bother me, I will say so as well. But whatever I say, is what I honestly feel/think, it is never about being right or wrong. It also means you never have to worry about second agendas and all the crap that comes with it. It's just me and my feelings/emotions.

You made a great game and I enjoyed playing it. I hope my comments reflect that enjoyment.

Sincerely looking forward to your next project. Regardless of what time it is set in.

Once again, thanks for kind words, it truly means a lot. I saw your YT comment and that was super nice. I do know you are an honest man, because I once saw you playing this game, if I remember correctly it was about a lake cabin, and you got so upset with the mechanics, in a right sense, first time I saw you just go right at the game, rightfully of course. What I mean is, I do understand that if you don't like something you would say, which is why I wanted you to play this and give an opinion. It is valuable and important.
Best to you Daniel 🍻
