@ SLES4R

I can't get to, what I believe to be, the end of the game, when the dude is looking for a knife to finish the job. The scene is so incredible dark, with environmental reflections on the screen, that I get stuck there like a headless chicken.

Why is that scene so dark? Why is there not a flashlight or a candle so the player can see what s/he does?

Hope this feedback helps :o]

Really nice game to play. A story with 3 endings never can go wrong, but me being a 1-ending guy, that's all you get :o]

I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags, so kudos to all involved in making this awesome game!

The game gets stuck after a few screens.

Once more Niven Hedinger delivers a rock solid game in which an attentive player is invited to immerse him/herself into the wicked world only a man like Hedinger can envision and create.

Step into the shoes of this protagonist and get lost in a lost world where the shadows whisper stories of days long since gone.

Be on your best, otherwise you will not survive. Think ahead, for there's no going back...

I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags, so kudos to Niven Hedinger for making this awesome game!

You are expected to do your job and so you set out to do just that... but is that where the buck really stops...?

Of course not. Clean. Wipe. Trash. Spaghetti. Toilets. And do not forget to clock out!

A solid game made by a solid DEV. The story takes you on a rollercoaster, where nothing is what it seems to be. Had a ton of fun playing it, so thank you!

I didn't see any bathroom, just a few odd cartoonish figures and the game was over before it really began [or so it felt to me].

As you guys have stated this is a game that's still being developed, I'm assuming bits and pieces are missing, so I'm looking forward to the finished Peeware game :o]

Thanks, but I can't get or see a mouse pointer to click on play...

Can't get the game to play. Mouse pointer disappears when game loads.

@ TurtleBurgle,

Honest communications always result in progress :o]

No idea where this is going. Text all in CAPITAL letters...? That's considered to be virtual shouting. Why?

Why all the extreme loud noises? That isn't scary, it just hurts my ears.

At this moment of writing, the game has been online for 32 days, and mine is the first video on it?

Should make you think [I hope].

Viel Glück!

@ TurtleBurgle,

I opened all drawers, but there's no highlight indicating there's something in there, and visually I can't see a thing that resembles a flshlight.

Regardless of all these mishaps, thanks you very much for taking time to reply and trying to iron out all hiccups.

Just words, I know, but those acts are sincerely appreciated :o]

@ backyardzoo.

A single man's project? Dang, bro, that makes it even more impressive :o]

As I'm following you, I should get a mail or a notification when you've re-uploaded the finished product.

TurtleBurgle,

I play games during the daytime [my lunch break], so I'm getting stuck in the attic, because the only thing I can see is the ladder, the rest is pitch dark and I can't see or find the typewriter. I've moved around up there, but I didn't see anything indicating I was near or close to said typewriter. A flashlight would come in handy :o]

Thanks in advance.

Wonderful game with a huge 'WOW' factor attached to it. At first, I felt kind of lost in the vastness of the game, but toward the end it narrowed down into an oppressing setting.

Given the title of the game I was sure I wouldn't make it out of there alive, but somehow I did.

That made me wonder: is the title of dual use?

1) We never came back from that planet?

2) We never returned back to that planet?

[Depending on the ending]

Regardless, playing the game was a blast. Thank you for that :o]

Hey TurtleBurgle,

Thanks for your swift reply. I will try again. I tried pressing Q but not by aiming at a flat surface.

Hi there.

I can't get rid of the jerrycan/container once I've filled up the generator. I keep running around with it. I also have to get a typewriter from the attick, but can't find an entrance into it.

Thanks in advance :o]

I'll never touch a doll ever again.

Thank you very much! :o]

Very well done and I especially like the action in the picture frame [that I nearly missed].

What a wonderful game to play. Whereas normally crashes take the piss out of fun, this game delivers fun on steroids. The way things just get worse and worse is enticing and immerses you into a world I never dreamt of.

So, big thumbs up and a 5 star rating. Well deserved :o]

Given the fact that there are no hints or clues as to why we're in this place, it was a bit confusing as to what to do and why. But gradually, everything began to fall into place.

As a player it is easy to be critical, but as a DEV it must be hard and difficult to make even a single, simple game, so that part's sincerely appreciated.

I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags, so kudos to all involved in making this awesome game!

Comments below clip:

Nice game, but the only thing I didn't understand was: why bring the remains to your own house?

Justice was done, so that part's right, but this game's absolutely not bad for a first run.

I'm following you, because I'm looking forward to your next game :o]

I always thought of deer as Bambi. However, in this game they're everything but adorable. In fact, they're out to get you, and get you good. The game sucks you into a world hitherto unthought and unheard of.

Tommy wants to talk to you. Will you listen...?

A dark and dreary game that grabs the gamer by the throat and won't let go until the very, bitter end.

Although I'm widely known as an optimistic guy that always looks at the sunny side of everything, I'm also aware of the fact that not everybody is like that [or me].

I really liked the way this game/story unfolds, as it forces the player to look at life, not through the safety of his/her own eyes, but through the darkened lenses of despair.

I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags, so kudos to all involved in making this awesome game! Well done!

P.S. I cut the game up in 3 parts, but will only upload the first one.

Like with everything else in life, trough falling and getting back up again, we [still] make progress. You are the developer and I'm a gamer. My hope is that positive feedback [regardless whether pro or con] helps you in understanding a player's perspective, but, in the end, it is completely up to you to implement it or not :o]

Unfortunately, bullying is a true, real and very ugly fact. As a teacher it's something I'm always on the look-out for. Not on my watch.

Sad story. Sad game, but a topic that needs to be addressed one way or another.

Great game. I really enjoyed playing it. Hopefully the educational part of it prevents individuals from participating in anything related to drugs.

Great demo. Great story. Great graphics. Loved every last second of it. The only con I ran into was the utter darkness at certain points and places. But that's it. For the rest on BIG thumbs up!

Played Hermit Night + Hermit Night 2.

Pros: the atmosphere creates and immersive experience. Although none of the usual attempts to startle players was fielded, the game nevertheless oozed something dreary and something about to happen.

Cons: the darkness. Not everyone plays or watches these games and videos at night. Youtube also compresses the 1080p videos making it blockier and [in some cases] darker. Walking long distances: the average viewer has the attention span of a fruit fly, resulting in clicking away, lower algorithms, less viewers, etc.

The cons are in the youtube and viewer area [not yours], but perhaps it is something to keep in mind.

I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags, so kudos to all involved in making this awesome game!

Hey guys,

You're putting a game out there that shuns the beaten path by a mile [maybe even miles].

I most sincerely appreciate you guys trying to do so!

Keep going.

I'm in your corner.

Daniel

I <3 games that lean heavily into suspense rather than cheap jump startles like exploding light bulbs, crying people and knocking on doors.

I expected something to pop up somewhere, some place, but I was wrong, thus didn't see the end coming.

Well done!

A sad story, but not one that sits in the realm of impossibility, but very close to reality. When it comes to money and people, my money's on money, because most people turn into monsters when it comes to $$$...

Well done. I enjoyed playing your game.

Hey Niven,

Given what you have delivered in the past, I am sincerely looking forward to what you will present in the future.

Your imagination is a shining light into the darkness of most games.

I have 100% trust in you!

The deity's speed to you, my friend :o]

We can always trust Niven to create games that drag players into a world in which they immerse deeply into the unknown, the unexpected and the otherworldly.

Passenger 6 is no exception. A world where up is down, front is back, and today tomorrow.

Passenger 6 delivers in spades, but that's Niven's usual trademark.

Well done, again!

What can go wrong when working in your average, run-of-the-mill convenience store?

Great game, ex@
Great game, exposing all the horror BS that never fails to make me laugh.

Liked the structured destruction of why almost every horror game's predictable [to a tee] and why.

Possible ideas for a sequel [list made by Boogadoo Games and myself]:

1 - exploding lightbulbs

2 - knocking on doors

3 - extremely loud noises/sounds

4 - burst steam pipes blocking the way

5 - dead end while being chased

6 - extremely fast dying batteries

7 - look behind you [signs/advice]

Regardless, I had tons of fun playing your game. I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags, so kudos to all involved in making this awesome game!
