Separate comment for a separate issue - sometimes if you load back, or scroll up to change choices/actions all of your equipment gets deleted.

This happened before this patch as well, and at any point of the game, essentially.

Loading is disabled after equipping/unequipping items precisely because of issues with items duplicating and so on. Screens in renpy don't handle saving data well. It's not a perfect solution, but stops people from having issues.
Having the equipment simply vanish though is a first and I haven't been able to recreate this yet. More details?
Uhh.... I had fights I've won but did not have desirable amounts of hp so I scrolled up to redo last stages of fight, finished fight, all gear gone.
Loaded previous saves that I still had half of my equipment in, no longer had any of it.
I... could start the game over and tinker to find out when it happens.
