Difficult to say without more details. What do you mean by can't open? Getting an error?

You need to learn them first. Also, maximum 8 skills assigned and only 1 of them can be elite.

The game is built with renpy 7.7.0 which uses python 2, not 3. It doesn't error out when None is returned instead of int. Well, shouldn't at least.

I know it's what the error says, but there's no way that is the actual issue. It works for everyone else, in all the examples you posted.  Try using vars(e_story6) and checking the var_req and others

Lots of weirdness. It's a guess, but I think you most likely pressed ignore during a previous update and it didn't update it properly.

You can try and salvage it with the renpy console. Use:

Branching, I'm afraid. Willow/gym event are in different routes. The after burning event is a specific branch and one of Eileen's events is also fully optional.

I believe the next update should have less of it. Simply couldn't make the trip to China work if you didn't help find Klaus.

He is toned down. You don't see him as often later in the game and when you do, he sort of mellows out after the kidnapping.

All minigames can be switched off in the character sheet (default C). Levels are not that important, skills are.

Money isn't an issue too as you gain cash daily and get extra money from Asuka's storyline. All it does is simply make you follow a different story or wait a few days. Although keep in mind, you are supposed to be struggling with money.

There's no perfect route and there's no walkthrough. There's a few branching options but you get the most content if you help find Klaus and attend the party.
