the ring of gravity seems to break the pixel grid, but that was not intentional, I suppose.

Thank you! As for the gravity... yeah, that's a mistake on my part. I used line drawers for that instead of sprites. I had the resolution at 160x144 while I worked on it, but scaled it up on export as to not be too small on the web page - unfortunately, that means smooth lines for gravity and momentum. I'll definitely experiment with this after the jam is over to see how I can remedy this.
