The graphics are very attractive, making good use of the palette, and remind me of Super Mario Land 2. Somehow they give off a very cozy vibe. SFX are also good, although the absence of music is also a shame (alas, in jams we never have enough time to do everything... I didn't manage to create music for the gameplay segments either). The controls are smooth.
My critique would be that the gameplay seems to be lacking something. The enemies are very basic, and there doesn't seem to be much by way of puzzles. There are destructible blocks, but they don't leave behind collectibles.
