Great concept, character and music. I had a very tough time with the control scheme as well. I might have locked myself into the inventory screen when it was full and I picked up another book.
Yeah, I got locked in the inventory as well, none of the controls seemed to allow me out after my bag was full and I couldn't place something. :(
