Thank you for your comments. I greatly appreciate it. I just wished you would have given me this response since last year.  I'll start adjusting some of these things you suggested.

This game actually turned out different to how I had originally envisioned it, but I still liked how it turned out in the end. I hope to start the sequel next year.

Since you still do active development you can always change and update  according to new insights and skills about how to present your stuff.

And if you plan on a sequel, you could even do a "remaster" where you exterminate those typos (like having coffee with your eshe. Your eshe what?) and freshen up certain interface  options (so they do not look like a 90s management game) or update the dice minigame to whatever evolves from your dice centered game.

Just look how others do it. Granted, that is not a guarantee for success, but there are some common pitfalls one could avoid. I see it from a player's perspective. The method of finding games on itch is not very optimal. Especially the tags are lacking. Every dev can use whatever they like.    There is a list of suggested tags to browse for,  but every tag is valid and most people probably do not even realize that you can put custom tags in the browse box. But as soon as you have a game that you like, you can click on the tags to find similar games. So using tags that no one  else uses, is one of those pitfalls. Also, there is google, so having a good description not only helps with players reading what to expect, but also to find you via outside search engine.

And after thinking about it a second time, your game perfectly fits slice of life tag.

Slice Of Life

  • Work centered on following a character through the ups and downs during a notable part of their life. There's often more of an emphasis on characterization, relationships, and a series of dramatic events than on strict adherence to conventional story structures and plotlines.
  • I have a big backlog of games to look at. I probably put your game on it a couple months ago, either because of management+adult tag or because it showed up in related games and had those management type looking elements in the screens. I like my adult games with game play.
