I really enjoyed the aesthetics of the game! It's simple, but it felt like I was playing a city building game on the NES ❤
I understand that the game is about trying to find the best placement for the highest score, but I wish I knew what the buildings were, which would help me guess what rules give me the best score. Even something as simple as a tooltip on the buttons would help.
I almost feel like this game would be better without a timer or as a puzzle game instead. For example, giving the user a smaller, 4x4 grid and asking the player to find the pattern of buildings that gives you the maximum score possible. But I definitely enjoyed it as it is. I would play more!
