Upon further investigation, I believe my game didn't actually download properly. At the same time though, I think it really helped me get into the mindset of Ned and really engage with the narrative on a more intimate level. Well done. 

Thanks, I suspected as much only I had never seen it happen before. A lot of the "colored" textures in the game, because it is simple like a cartoon, are actually blank materials color corrected from a pallet picker menu, I imagine this is why they still exist, where as the "textured" materials failed to load the picture reference and appear blank (or black in some cases). The eyeball models are still where I put them, for example, but not having a texture reference makes them appear to NOT be there. It also seems to apply to family pictures in their frames and the bloody overlay textures. Very interesting!
