Galaxy Cards is a very cool game, nicely designed! How quickly did it take you to decide on the mechanics for this game? I agree with Woahjess' feedback and I also really enjoyed  the concept.

The game works so well, too! I think you should be very proud of this accomplishment.

Puzzley strategy card game... that's my kind of game!😲

Overall, I really liked the concept for Galaxy Cards. The complex interactions between colored cards, rows, and columns worked really well in my opinion. I also liked the look of the game itself, along with your soundtrack! I actually went back and played this a second time today after playing it for 45 minutes or so yesterday! 😁

This definitely seems like a great game to have running in the background to enjoy on breaks. I also think it would be a good candidate for a mobile game! I could absolutely see myself pulling something like this up on my phone in bed.

I have a few suggestions for improvement!

- The coloring off the cards themselves was hard for me to interpret. Black/purple were too similar, and it was very difficult for me to identify the planet type before revealing their cards. It took me far longer than I care to admit to realize the info box was shaded by their respective planet's color. I'd maybe opt for a more distinct palette, and one that accommodates color blindness.

- My biggest issue with gameplay was that I felt very uninformed in my choices. I'd suggest providing the player a breakdown of overall income and its sources, while also having the actual card values update when hovering over cards to reflect the effects/synergies of your purchases.

- This suggestion is far outside of the current scope of the game, buuut... it'd be awesome to have a variation of card types/card locations so that no game is quite the same. This would provide for interesting strategies and synergies, and would greatly increase the replayability of the game.

Thanks very much for taking the time to create and submit a game to the HF 2023 Game Jam!

Nice game, the ide is pretty simple and neat yet I'm pretty sure it could be expanded in a lot of original ways (Like planets giving temporary benefits, planets requiring player to have other planets first, etc.) The only thing I felt was a bit missing was some kind of score goal. I feel like this kind of games usually have set score goal instead of high score system, but maybe that's just me. Anyway great game!

This isn't really my kind of game, so I didn't really get into it. However, it does seem like an interesting take on the concept. I certainly found all the complex interactions to be interesting, but too much for me to personally keep track of.

On the topic of accessibility, I found the use of color to be problematic. A number of the planet effects refer to the color of the planet, but I had a difficult time being sure what planets counted as certain colors. Being colorblind, even when the number of specified colors is low like this is, I do still find myself second-guessing things (eg. "is this planet blue, and therefore affected, or is it a purple planet or something?"). In general, I would have liked more indication of how adding each planet would affect the result (eg, and indicator when hovering over a planet that shows that planet A changes by +5, but planet B changes by -3).

Very nice idea, almost like a turn-based idle game?

had trouble figuring it out at first but found the groove after a bit, awesome game!

Hats off to Zabbo developers for the idea and such a good work done in creation of this game. I wonder how far greater, and more advanced this title could become if the team put even more time in developing process. Such undiscovered potential, but even now this game is awesome and full of fun.

idk if it intended but i'm only focusing on maxing 4-5 planets. and hitting

2.448.593 score, don't know if that is good or bad. What score's do you all get?

I love this game. I like the engine building mechanics with the the Spend vs Save strategies.
