Log in to your OenpAI account and click in the upper right corner and select Manage Account. There you can see billing and check your credits. Also you can link a credit card if you want to continue to play the game as a pay-as-you-go plan. You are paying for the API not the game. Yes, you pay for the text-to-speech API from OpenAI so the game can interact with Chat GPT.. Seemingly a cost savings move by the developers. You would have to use a different account that still has the credit to play for free. As for the voice, it's the same until they allow different free programs to do the same thing. There didn't seem to be any free credit with the voice API. So, I go without for now..
I don't know of a video to address this. There is a step-by-step above, so I don't know what is going on. There may be a way OpenAI is able to determine the two accounts are made by the same person. Or, you need to enter a payment method even using the initial credits (I did this). I am sorry for the poor help .The only solution I found on the internet that works is upgrading your original account to pay-as-you-go, enter a payment method, and generate a new API key afterwords. Sorry, I can't be more help.
