This was SO ADORABLE, gonna roll over and die of a heart attack!! It was too cute! I love the concept of a story told from the animal's perspective, and it was so cleverly written, with the cat "talking" like they're having a conversation, even when the boy can't understand the cat! I also adored how it was structured - starting off with the boy picking up the cat and comforting them with a bowl of tuna rice, and ending with the cat comforting the boy with a bowl of a tuna rice! It was funny seeing the difference in the priorities between the animal and the human! Perhaps, at the end of the day, being warm, safe and fed are what matter!
The artstyle is simply adorable, and I loved the use of the limited color palette - the contrast of the blue and yellow was very striking, and it gave the visuals a little melancholic but comforting feel (maybe trying to evoke a "sun amidst the rain" image?) The sprite was cleverly used and I really appreciated all the different animations and framing to make the game dynamic.
Overall, this was so cute, really great job on this, kona!! Like a warm hug on a cold, rainy day!
