I think there is a heap of potential here, the shots and they way they hit the ground and zapped was very satisfying, as well as how you dodge flying enemies and lock on and shoot missiles. I felt like this would have been amazing on rails, even with the low poly basic scene. I know you have gone for getting lots of area and the jam was short, but when I was up high I could see a lot of geometry that just didn't make sense. had I been controlled in my view and only saw it from a certain angle it would have been great and I wouldn't have even minded the low poly aesthetics. The way you move around the enemies, lock on with missiles would also work super well on rails, it felt nice to play. Oh yeah and of course you want to fix that lighting! Still a really good and enjoyable solo effort, great work!

And I agree with your statement about the level design, I had an idea about it being more fine tuned with actual buildings that would create a coherent city, but I misjudged how long it would take! I will try to make an improved version in the coming weeks that better isolate my original vision. Your feedback is gold and I would really appreciate if you would want to try the next version! 

Sorry I realised after when I did my highlight video it was on rails. I was up long hours and must have mistaken what I thought at the end when you go up high, I thought it was letting me free roam. I would love to play future version thanks!
