It's unlikely to be a problem with itchio and I've checked the link- it's fine. The best and most simple thing you can do to improve your downloads is work on your game description, as it's full of English mistakes (e.g. 'along side' is usually one word, 'deadly magics' doesn't take an 's'). This is going to put off a lot of players wanting an adventure game/ RPG with strong dialogue and characters.
Your game's thumbnail image, on the other hand, is very good and likely to attract people. It might be worth finding a proofreader- ideally for the whole game. Simply doing a spellcheck on Word or something will fix a lot.
