How does your game fit the theme?
Instead of playing the fun word board game yourself, you play as the Bag of Tiles, dealing out wonderful or cruel tiles to those players.

I have updated the game with a bugfix, now that the week after the jam reserved for ratings is ended and I'm allowed to update the game.

(Previously, there was a rare bug causing invalid words to be created by adding letters to an existing word. It was rare enough that fixing it shouldn't much affect the distribution of typical scores. Details at https://github.com/charlescapps/ProScrabble/pull/1. Of course, there are also many valid but obscure words that few people recognize. The full list of valid words can be downloaded from the git repository.)

A Bag Deal is on GitHub at https://github.com/jamie-hello/game-by-jamie-and-xom

From now on, please comment on the game page, not on this page. I'm especially interested in what scores other people have gotten. (The game page has a screenshot of some of my scores.)

This is an interesting game. It was fun to play, though the AI sometimes made words up lol.

Hey! I enjoyed playing this on stream.

Even though I was not playing as any of the players, I had to pick one to root for!! My initial strategy did not pay off because the players had quite a POWERFUL vocabulary.

Nice work on this :)

As someone who is *terrible* at scrabble this game is super satisfying. Chill, delightful, clever.

Not bad at all, I liked the the usage of the word alg, and on top of that it was pretty interesting to figure out what main goal. Good Job! and thank you for joining!

This matches the theme so wellllllll! Instead of being the player relying on luck - the bag, you are governing the letters' distribution instead. You're the dealer, basically, which was executed very well. Would love a clearer indicator of which player's turn it is, but other than that, the game is very fun to play, and the core concept is just so clever.

As an ex-competitive scrabble player I really loved this concept. Would make for a really interesting game if there were objectives like making a certain player win/lose or get a certain score etc.

If only we had another day 😂😭💀

for what it's worth, the lowest total score i've seen someone get is 597, and the highest i've seen is 927. good job to anyone that can get lower than 597 or higher than 927 total score in a run.
