There are parts of this game I really enjoyed. The worldbuilding is excellent. The gameplay is also excellent. The art is really, really good. The scene with the "killer writer" had me rolling on the floor laughing. But at the end of the day, there's just far too much violence against women. I mean, there are some scenes where you as the protagonist must literally rape a woman in order to advance the plot. I can't do it. Sorry. Making the setting of a game a cruel world where women are getting raped left and right is fine, but to require the protagonist whose role I am assuming to take part in the raping too? No. I have no problem with games that have violence against men. Fuck men. A man who can't defend himself deserves what he gets. But women? No. Call me a misogynist, but I believe that women deserve a bit better treatment than that. There's a line. When the protagonist of a game whose role I am assuming starts doing things that are just too far out of bounds of things that I would do myself, I lose the ability to identify with him and just can't play anymore. And that's the case here. You're a great storyteller, but this story just isn't for me.
