Very fun indeed! Fun little arcade game. Quick to pickup and learn, and I laughed out loud when the slimes really started hoarding the screen. Great job! Played your game @ 2:41 - 9:03

Thank you LOTS for not just playing, but recording your gameplay! I appreciate all the feedback!

You're very welcome 😊

I absolutey loved this game! I loved the idea of getting the power ups while simultaneously taking away power ups! Seriously fun game! music was a little loud but overall the game was great

Developer

Thanks for playing! Sorry about the music being too loud, I tried to leave a little note in the description to turn down your volume a bit. Your game was fun too!

Very impressive! The level of polish of the overall experience is insane!

An added step to the complexity could be to have 2 sets of upgrades and having the player choose one.

Really enjoyable game!

Glad you found the game to be polished, I tried my best at it :)

Your added step was something I actually considered in the beginning (but eventually scrapped bc it would have taken longer), with a shop sort of thing where the player would buy 1 of 2 upgrades every so often. I like your idea though!

Smart ideas on getting upgrade and downgrade in a shooter game. Maybe it would be nice to let the player to choose increase with decrease. But still I had a lot fun with it, great job! :D

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I thought about letting the player choose the upgrade, but I figured it would take a bit longer and I figured I could add some funny randomness instead.

(Score 831) Nice take on the arena shooter genre, I like it :) Some bugs there (like "-0 bullet speed" or increasing and decreasing the same thing) but it didn't stop me from playing!

Developer(+1)

Glad you liked the game! Those two bugs you mentioned were actually intentional, I just wanted to mess around a bit and not have to worry if the player got the same upgrade and downgrade, and the bullet speed one I added on purpose just to be like the "best downgrade" option.

The theming of the game is very unique and the gameplay is quite fun. But it can get a little repetitive after a while due to being able to destroy the slimes before they can get close enough to damage you if your attack is high enough.  I seemed to run into a bug where you would not get any upgrades or downgrades until you got damaged. But overall it is an enjoyable game, with some really good music!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Sorry about some of the bugs you encountered, with limited time I couldn’t fix everything. Also glad you liked the music!
