Submitted game but it didn't go into the Jam submissions list.

I wonder if someone could help me? I've just spent a week on a VR game jam and submitted to the game through the entries page of the jam...

The game was on time and I had put the game page together. However, it hasn't appeared on the Jam's submission page at all! My game is Space Panic by IanLindsey (itch.io), I put a crazy amount of work into it and it would be a real shame not to be part of the Jam. Is there anything that can be done to add it?

I can see that your game was submitted, as linked here https://itch.io/jam/vr-jam-2023/rate/2142280, but it has been disqualified by one of the hosts of the jam. You will need to contact them to find out why

Thanks for replying, I don’t understand why it’s been disqualified - it was submitted on time and I went through the process

I reached out to the host, which added the game to the Jam, however it has been subsequently disqualified - and I don’t know why?  I have reached out to the host again, however they have not responded since

I would very much like the game to be included in the Jam as I feel it was submitted within the time and rules given and that something happened during the actual  process of submitting. This my first Jam, and I have put a lot into the game and feel unfairly disqualified as a result. Can someone please help  me given this situation?

Jam participation is up to the hosts discretion. If you want to submit a support ticket then I can forward it to the host. Make sure you include a link to your game and the jam.

Please reply to my post here by clicking “reply” so that I am notified. Include the ticket ID you get in the receipt email. Thanks

Edit It looks like the submission is no longer disqualified. So I’ll assume the issue is resolved.

Thanks for getting back to me on this - it’s much appreciated. In the end I managed to find the contact details and reached out to several hosts of the Jam and thankfully one of them solved the issue for me.  It was a mistake, I just hope I didn’t miss to much of the initial voting phase of the Jam.
