Hello! You should add the license into metadata for the asset pack(s):

"Edit asset pack->Metadata->Release Info->License for assets" It will increase the size of audience that will be able to find your art

thx , its cc0 should be easy to understand

Yeah, image is big but if your page don't have properly set metadata, it won't appear on special "aggregator" page https://itch.io/game-assets/assets-cc4-by. There appear only projects with cc-by4 license... In your case it isn't more about telling what license it has, it is more about placing your assets on page that allow easier search for assets with cc-by4 license...

okok thanks for your advice , i will try to think about it next time , have nice day

i changed it to CC0; : )

It is good. ;)

I saw you have many other assets under CC-BY4. Each asset has its own metadata so you if you want to add metadata to each page you need to do it for each page separately

hahahhaaa, i saw ur page , u telling everyone to do that ? literaly everyone ;? why?

I say to almost everyone who shares assets under CC license.

Why?

Do you think it is better not to do it at all? I use only free/libre assets and I would like just to open https://itch.io/game-assets/assets-cc0 or another "aggregator" link that show only assets with searchable license. But many of assets with these licenses don't have metadata so they aren't visible in those aggregator links... I am searching for assets and when I see something with CC license or something that looks like CC license or something that don't point license at all,I try to know what is the license and if it is CC license to say the creator how to add metadata

I don't like to search for CC assets by opening each page and read description to know I can't use this assets, and the next and the next and the next... If I open the "aggregator" link I can use almost every (because sometimes license pointed in metadata isn't equal to author expectations) asset listed there...

okok dude , cool , have good luck for your games
