I last played around v15, and have picked up v17 now. I noticed the menu at the bottom is missing (Auto, Previous, etc etc). Is that a bug for me, or an intentional change? Is there a way to trigger the 'Auto' function so the game's story moves ahead at its own pace, like a movie?

That's strange, I'm not sure why that bar disappears or how to get it back. I think that's the only way to auto play

Hm, I'll keep looking, and I've asked on the Discord in case it's happening elsewhere. I haven't checked if this is happening in other Renpy games, as well.

Well, after some testing, the weird result is that only my main save is affected - if I start a new game, the menu is there. Is there any way to edit the quick_menu state in a save file...?
