of course not: the term in Chex Quest used was Zorch (without a t) 🙂
it was probably unconsciously inspired by it though -
my memories are a bit vague but back in the old days
when you could actually use google to search for stuff properly
I checked if the name was taken and it gave me the impression
that Zortch was actually a real name used IRL by people
which led me to choosing it - but alas I can no longer confirm this 😔
