Thanks again! Although pokemon comparison is kinda worrying, since skipping pokemon generations is definitely a bad idea, but i'll trust you.
Oh don't worry about the comparison. What I am saying is that whenever you start a monster hunter game, its always a new experience. And I am not saying skipping is bad. Always start with one thing, then if you like it, you can play the previous ones too.
Though I do warn you, all monster hunter games are at least about 100 hours worth of gameplay. That's why I don't recommend playing older games to beginners or new to the franchise. But regardless, I hope you enjoy your time playing Monster Hunter :D
