Uploaded to fix a few bugs that hinder gameplay and some grammar fixes that may have confused the context of Memories. 

Glad you noticed the similarity!

The BGM we use are all taken from various free to use sources as linked in our credits screen such as Dova Music and some here on itch. We tried to encapsulate the particular feeling of listening to MH music by carefully choosing some themes that work with characters, locations, and situations. BUT, none of the BGM are actually taken from the MH games themselves. Just a similar feeling, giving the game a bit more of an identity but also a feeling of familiarity. 

We do plan on adding more music in the future update but that will be a while since it will need a lot of careful consideration :>

Also I really wanted to get more music from Frontier but its so specific.... it's actually a challenge.

One thing I will get on immediately. The game right now will NOT add any additional love interests as it is already too deep into the story, and inserting them at the end will only prove to be more difficult. This is just to set expectation that as with everything, not everyone will be available and will only be there for support on specific character/s. We don't want to lead anyone on as we keep getting requests to add more date-ables so we just want to set this in stone.

Runan is more of a stereotype. His attitude is very much intentional as he is suppose to be paper cut in terms of who he is. So his wordings and attitude may not change, unless 90% of everyone here just wants to drop the guy :<

The Elder not having a name, similar to the housekeeper, is more of an homage to older monster hunter games where relevant characters do not have a name (Even as far up to MH World). Fun fact, if you name yourself as a default name "Scriviner", some dialogs change when they address you usually by name, as we think it is still something that we want to keep. So overall, he does not canonically have a name other than the Elder. 

Misspellings are gonna be an often occurance since the game is still in development and we do appreciate the help for everyone that can point them out for us since they tend to go under the radar when we test it. 

You can comment on the respective devlog for any bugs or misspellings so we can go through them like a list, making sure its the right version as well.

It is because amatsu is located at a special area, far from the village itself. And the quest does actually exist in game, the one mentioned in his memory. Its just re imagined. It is also I got inspired by a Youtube Video that mentioned this scarlet mystery man. Originally, I was gonna make it way more different, but after that video, I got a better idea on how to aproach his whole story.

Always remember to spend time with your preferred villager. So if you choose let's say, Leo, be sure to hang out with him on days he is available. Some routes will be locked IF you don't choose the proper responses. 

A tip:
You should be able to hang out with your preferred villager at least 3 times from days 4-7. Any less than that will guarantee you a bad ending.

Oh, thank you for this! Will go ahead and change this for the next update. I believe this was something I forgot to change waaaay before because I did the Deviljho and then just copied the coding for everyone else. Must have missed it.

Also, maybe this is a Mandela effect, but I vaguely remember Tigrex flying to move from location to location in MHFU. I hope I ain't crazy!

I agree with above. I personally have a Samsung A11 phone for my everyday life stuff and this phone cannot keep a VN open for more than 10 mins. And not even the heavy ones too. It usually means the phone cannot handle it so it just shuts it down.

It is mostly from personal experience and random conversations with friends. These are just some funny quirks me and my friends thought about randomly while bored that I genuinely thought was interesting. As a Foodie myself, I can kinda see the relation between the two different kinds of tastes. 

But it is no more than just a little banter. Something similar to like a personality test.

Glad you're enjoying the update so far! The purpose of the Memories is not clear just yet, but it's something that will be brought up more in future updates. As they are called, these are just memories. Something to give more character to everyone while also telling a little story about the world of monster hunter. We hope you continue to Enjoy!

we were thinking about it before but without an IOS phone between me and DaSinBun or our friends, it will be hard to test and even more to debug. We might not add an IOS version unless we expand.

Hint: Be sure to mention to Jin about "Visiting his Place" to unlock a day when he is showing you the construction area.

This seems to be a bug specifically on Renpy itself. I tried looking into similar cases with this but I wasn't able to find anything. Notifications should not be able to intervene with the game audio. I am sorry that I might not be able to solve this quickly but I will keep my eye open to see if this can be resolved from my end. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Thank you so much! We honestly didn't have high expectations with our game, considering how little we knew before. I mentioned during the release it took us 2 years of planning before we even released the first update, and we still had some missing parts to it. We are so happy you stuck with us and we hope you continue to tune in until Version 1.0 :D

Yes! Compared to other developers, rather than doing one minor update every week, which usually requires updating the game regularly and checking in, we want our game to have significant updates instead. 

It does sacrifice consistency and time, but overall, it would still be better from our perspective since we are not particularly rushed, and you only need to update the game once to have at least 12 new days. With that in mind, that also gives us more time to put in more content, make some detailed work, and do our best to deliver a fun experience overall!

There are currently 6 available routes. A tip: be sure to spend time with your preferred villager on days they are available. Your choices on those days as well affect how you move forward with them, but making wrong choices may lock you out of the route so save often.

We will be releasing the next update sometime in March since we had some personal responsibilities to take care of during February so we cannot release the update within the month. We apologize for the long wait, but please refrain from providing an unconfirmed update date as it will affect other's expectations as well.

We don't have any plans to translate the game into any other languages anytime soon. We might do it with some assistance but me and DaSinBun are only Filipino and English speakers. We would be needing third party help, but we want to focus on finishing the game first before we think about language options.

Thank you! Glad you are having fun with what we have so far! But like I said, that was no more than just a reference. We were inspired on how Elder Dragons are portrayed in the movie that we want to include it in the game to a similar vibe.

To be fair, I understand the confusion, but the bad ending itself has no relation to the current timeline of the MH franchise as it is just an easter egg :D 

I actually thought of that anomaly before, but since it's a bad ending, I won't be putting much effort into explaining the events of it. Yet... But there is a reason why I chose that event! Stay tuned!

Well, it is mostly just a reference to the Monster Hunter movie (Legends of the Guild). The synopsis is that there is a Lunastra on the move, wreaking havoc as it walks. You can assume it is either the same Lunastra or even a repeated event. As for the non bad ending route, you will just have to wait and see for now!

Just want to add some more love to the MH franchise that is not just limited to the game!

Except the live action movie... I ain't touching that...

Since Roda and DaSinBun are both busy with their respective lives (Roda with work and Sinbun with college), we cannot guarantee a regular update schedule. We do plan at least once every quarter (maybe a big update every now and then), but it is very dependent on thier availability. Rest assured we will be finishing this project and polishing it at the end once all routes are finished.
