Ability to make select hidden files available in a separate archive page

I have a handful of players who are interested in being able to download and play older versions of some of my games (In fact, I just got a refund request from a player who, seeing older versions of a game attached to a devlog, purchased it solely because they thought they would still be able to download those versions through the devlog). However, to keep my page clean and accessible I always hide older versions when releasing updates. If I were to unhide all older versions the list would be huge.

It would be great if a new option could be added that would hide files from the main page, but still allow them to be downloaded from a separate archive page tucked away somewhere. It would also be nice if this page had space for a short message so I could leave a disclaimer about how old versions are no longer supported and potentially unstable, etc.

This is an interesting idea.

By using butler, it’s possible to update you project, and within the Itch app users have the option to play any version of your project they want.

I believe that’s not how it works on the web though, it would be a very welcome change indeed!

Everyone, you can do this on the Steam version. You just have to open the Steam console and type "download_depot {APP_ID} {DEPOT_ID} {MANIFEST_ID}"

The App ID of Baldi's Basics Plus is:  1275890

The Depot ID is:

- 1275891 (Windows)

- 1275892 (Linux)

- 1275893 (MacOS)

The Manifest ID is different for each version of the game, for example, the Manifest ID of the v. 0.3.4 is: 6680004671852231648

So for example, if I want to download the V. 0.3.4 on Windows, I have to type: download_depot 1275890 1275891 6680004671852231648

(You can do this for the Steam version of Baldi's Basics Classic Remastered too)

As for Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning, there's this itch.io page that contains all of the versions: https://wowzaboimodderofficial.itch.io/baldis-basics-classic-archive

Hope this helps!
