The game is a bit bright.

I like the retro art style a lot.

The doors were confusing, I just pressed them all until I found the right one.

The text disappeared kind of quickly; tho that's more of a nitpick.

When the lights went out in the basement I was expecting a cutscene then accidentally left clicked and realized I was fighting something. Only being able to see things with the flash of my gun is a cool idea, but with such little ammo its not so nice.

You packaged your game in the development configuration and as such I could see your printed debug messages and a "reflection capture must be rebuilt" info message. If you built it in the shipping configuration all of that would have been hiden.

Overall the beginning was a neat experience but the end fell a little short.

You're supposed to use the flashlight in the basement when the lights go out.  We didn't have any intention of forcing people to use the gun to see things.

Thanks for taking the time to play and for the critique!

Someone else mentioned the fact that I packaged this in the dev configuration so you see all those messages. My sole defense is that I was up until 5 in the morning trying to get this out the door lol.

But really, thank you, for the compliments and criticisms, they'll definitely be things that me and the people I work with will take into consideration the nest time we tackle something like this, doesn't matter if it's a nitpick.
