Just one friendly advise

Try to give the combat stat some increasing value from leveling up. So the characters will get stronger and pack heavier punch after leveling up and not just their hp and wp

Well, some balancing might eventually have to happen.

I mean, not sure if it was dumb luck but I didn’t really struggle with any of the current battles. Just pick the right tactic for the right opponent (seduce the tanks and smack around the seducers)

So who knows, maybe the combat stats will depend on your companions, equipment or be affected by the story progression instead of levels.

Frankly, I can’t read Arc’s mind, not sure if I’d want to anyway.

Yeah, I'll be balancing things out as time goes on - although the fights immediately around the Manor are supposed to be cake-walks to get players used to the system (and because I don't know which district they'll fight first). Much harder fights coming the deeper you get into the map :)

As for stat increases during level-ups, that might happen but the plan currently is to increase (or decrease!) stats based on in-game events, usually occurring when you scout a conquered district, but also some worked into the story. This way, growth is a little more organic to the story and exploration has added rewards and dangers. I like it when different systems overlap!
