Holy heck, 4090? thats a powerful piece of equipment, or do you mean the 3090?  and not running 1 but attempting 2?  oof, Im jealous lol

If you shop around there are various prices for that card. I had a pc built with it (RTX4090). 64GB ram DDR5, 13 Gen i9, 30TB ssd external storage + 2m internal ssd main drive.  This machine came out at around $3200 because I managed to get a really good deal and I know the guy who makes these gaming and work rigs (he builds machines for heavy power users who need quick machines for architecture design, cad etc .  My 4k monitor died (32 inc) gsync which was really annoying because was an asus rog top end gaming monitor too.  Thankfully the prices have come down to around $7/800 depending where you get it from.  When you need to buy 3 plus a new pc above, it gets expensive real fast.

Ironically what I am after is really the RTX4090Ti which apparently will see a starting price of $2200 so a lot more expensive than the 4090. But like all RTX cards their prices tend to drop quite quickly from their original starting price.

You just need to shop around, go online, ask neighbors if they know or use any particular computer shop and ask them to introduce you, the chances are you will get reduced prices because you have been introduced to them.

I'd give it a year and a machine like mine will be significantly cheaper, but then the tech will be a year out of date but for the average gamer, and their rigs they are far behind the curve of the above machine, so it will last a very long time and still be a huge upgrade for those on older machines a year or two or more from now. most gamers don't like to upgrade that much, they sit on mid range pc's and then wonder why they can't run the latest games...can't blame them with price of upgrading in general.

I just finished building my gaming rig, I'll admit, I'm no dev just your ordinary gamer!  I meant no disrespect I was merely surprised.  I know my rig isnt top of the line but I can enjoy AAA gaming.

its a modest build that still flexes against the big boys and found my pc knocked my buddies out of the gaming ring haha. He was so big into power his custom build cost 10k and fell flat against mine surprisingly.  I got 1200 tied into it and havent watercooled it yet
