What Ideas would that be?

Crypto is a bad idea in general and a very, very bad idea for  small payments.

Also, stop following me, I am not a dev and I won't follow you back. You do not want me following you and talk on your comment section.

I like to argue and I like sound arguments.    You only encounter me so much, because you post in every forum and the forum on itch is not very active outside of the game comment sections. If you talk good, I like the post and maybe comment, if you talk bad, I might argue against. Like with this crypto nonsense.

You only want "crypto", because you think it would enable you to accept payments where you previously could not. Understandable. But crypto will not solve your problem. As notime pointed out, no one was using it anyway.  No one will shell out 7$ for your game in crypto. People do not buy crypto to spend it. It is as simple as that. Why should I spend 7$, if that same crypto could be worth 14$ in a week?  It is the bigger fool idea. You buy it, because you think there will be a bigger fool that will buy it from you at a bigger price later in time.

But maybe you can shed light on the topic:

Why is there a problem with having a credit card and accepting payments through credit card in places, like for say, India?

I read in comments that Paypal is not available everywhere. Ok. But to my knowledge, credit cards are virtually everyhwere.

Is it an individual problem of the dev and the player in question, or is it a principal problem of certain countries? Or is it because of the small sums and that it would not be very attractive? Like, you would have to pay 100 bucks to have a credit card, but would not make 100 bucks with the game.

I'm not supporting crypto but as I mentioned, we should add Skrill. (Crypto supported) (And we want privacy too) (I personally use PayPal)

I'll follow you because your my true friend and a honest critic. I like your ideas and your criticism, It makes me better and helps me get more knowledge for free. Thank you.

The follow mechanic is for following devs and not for following users. This is not Twitter. Though it feels like there are more devs than players in some portions of itch.

Also, I am not your friend. You project too much emotion into the internet.  I am not "your" critic.     I am just a loudmouth. Other people see what you do too, but they just do not bother calling you out on it. I would call out other people too, but coincidentally, you are most active right now, due to your stealth marketing.

Ok, but I wasn't stealth marketing. Please stop criticising me. I'll stop being emotional. (OK 👌)
