Hehe, yeah x3 It was the reason I got into gamedev in the first place ^-^ I used to play a lot of visual novels, and the first time I encountered a yandere character, my mind was blown. I just fell in love instantly and went seeking them out, haha. The problem is that, at the time, I consumed pretty much everything that was available, and I really, really, really wanted to see more English-voiced yanderes in stuff, especially male ones since they used to be so rare x3 I figured I'd just try to make them myself, but I accidentally got addicted to making VNs after I finished my first one xD And now, quite frustratingly, I'm extremely behind on other people's yandere characters as a player cos making stuff has absorbed so much of my time that I missed a whole bunch of releases, haha.
Not gonna lie, mental health-wise, things are about the same >.< I'm very stuck in life, haha. But making these games really helps to give me a reason to get up in the morning :3 And I'm lucky enough to have an amazing dad + a wonderful IRL best friend + an online group of friends who are also all incredible, so in that way, I feel extremely lucky because I know a lot of people struggling with their mental health aren't fortunate enough to have such lovely people around them.
Then, of course, there are awesome folks like yourself supporting me with your kind words, and those also help more than I can even describe, so thank you :3
And yay, so glad you're a fan of the art! Lazy Polar bear was the lead artist in both Limbo Line and this, and I agree, her style is just so beautiful ^-^
