I'm having a rather frustrating bug, I can't recover my gear after freeing myself of the moth boy bindings, including any armor, leaving my character naked. Which in turn means the fight against him is nigh impossible. I also appear to have lost old accessories and weapons a little while back after getting to the newer content. My best idea to solve either issue is editing my save maybe but I don't believe that can be done. Also my character still has the convenient mist for some reason, at least prior to getting my gear taken.

Are you playing on Linux, by any chance? And can you confirm that you're playing on the newest v0.308 build? I believe we've had mention of this issue before, and I also thiiiink it should be fixed on the newest version.

You will need to go back to a save before you got abducted by the moth though, in order for it to work.

If the issue still persists, or you're already running the latest version, let us know and we'll look into it.

Yes I am playing on linux, and yes it is v0.308, and I have already done as you suggest with loading an earlier save and getting to that point. If it helps i can send you my saves if it will help?

Yes please, sending your saves should help.

Hey Dagoth,

I ran through the area on an Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS VM and it all seems to be working as intended (GROVE version 0.308). Do you mind telling us which distro you're using? I suspect that there is a compatibility issue.

Whatever the case, I've uploaded your save with all your items on you just after the equipment recovery moment:

Hope that helps you out :)
