It sounds like you maybe have a virus scanner that is preventing the app from installing correctly. Do you have any software like that installed?
I have Avast, but that didn't spring up at all during my multiple installation attempts, and I even looked at the FAQs on here regarding it and made the necessary changes. I don't think Avast was the issue here.
