Description of your game:
A short little industrial revolution train game made for the Historically Accurate Game Jam 6. It was inspired by the Oregon Trail. Senarios will happen at random , either good or bad. The higher your train level is the less likely it is for the senario to be bad.

You pick up passengers and goods to transport (depending on what kind of train cars you have) every little bit. The amount of people and goods that get on your train depends on your popularity. Popularity is determined by certain cenarios that occur. After reaching a station, you are paid for the amount of people and goods on your train (10$ each). More cars and upgrades can be purchased with money. You win after upgrading your train to level 5.

I agree with the comments below the game play moves to slow but overall great game concept. Would be interesting to see what other components could be added to this game to speed things up and cause choas.

I like the overall thought of the game play mechanic, but agree with below that it could have been sped up and more frantic.

I think the overall concept is solid, but needs a lot more workshopping to get an engaging game out of it. The biggest issue is the player doesn't have much to do. Either the train needs to move much faster, or the player needs to have other actions to take along the journey to fill the time. The sound effects got repetitive easily, and were quite loud, so some audio balancing work would be nice. Overall, it's the foundations for a nice game, but it just isn't quite there yet.

I think you could use a speed up. Make the game more frantic and maniac. Also make the money increase faster in the beginning, it's a bit too slow
