I'm happy that you liked it :) Yes, there's an ending if you don't die. There's also an ending if you don't die in hardcore mode.
how do I play hardcore?
After beating the game, there should be an option right at the beginning menu to start the game in hardcore mode. I think it's a button with red text.
im clicked start new game... am i screwed?
I think you should be ok, unless you clear the game data.
