I found this game a few years ago and got maybe 60% of the way through it, and loved it so much. I've been replaying it this year and have spent so much time in it, it's such a brilliant game where someone like me (a casual gamer) can be really challenged but still have the game be really fun and compelling enough to keep at it even when its hard. I really love the ability to switch between areas of the map to keep picking away at it, so that when I get frustrated with one section I can go try somewhere else.

I'm pretty stuck right now, mostly on the first red room in the top row, that looks like lego blocks. I'm not sure how to get past that yellow zigzag thing, I've tried using the projector but I can't get through to hit that switch to open the gate.  (and I'm also stuck in the room with the candy canes and flying purple gumdrops, but I wonder if I need a power up first...)

Any hints would be appreciated! And thank you so much for making this game, it's one of my favourite indie games ever.

It sounds like there's actually at least one other direction you're able to go that you haven't gone yet.

I'm not sure if this is the section you mean, but I've tried going in the section that's olive green in the map, but I don't have enough star power to get through the W shape and then climb up to get to the section to the left, and I also tried getting to it from below by star mode/platforms to get in from the blue/grey section, I can get just about there but as soon as I pass into the olive green section above (for a split second), I'm out of jumps and I fall back down... is there a different direction I'm not thinking of?

Also thank you so much for replying!!

I'd rather not post full puzzle solutions in this thread. Is there another way I could contact you? You can email me at pshaughn@okayideas.com

Oh, another possibility here: You MIGHT already have the right powerup, but not thought to have used it... maybe go over all your powerups and think about lateral uses for them
