how is clicking on the jar file going to run the game

u have to find it first and to slide u must hold down and press z (a for controller, u must have the as far as i can remember u must first have the speed boots, jump boots, and bommerang before u find u should enter a room that has a laser blocking the room below and a red circle in it too, hit it with ur boomerang and it will break and the laser disappers giving u acecss to the room below, hope this helped

ok so u did map the gamepad controls like it wanted however the game is so unfinished i cant semm to progress bc everything is blocked and the game isnt really a metriodvania i assume that the game is a work on progress but good game

Before i will download this game, u for controller u could have mapped jump for A and X for attack instead of mapping them to the shoulder buttons. That's all!

wdym mean by the game is plugged with a joystick plugged in port 2

what are the controls for keyboard?

if u got the ability that allows u to shoot in all direction in star mode u can use that to hit the target in the lego area to open the door thats blocking ur progress

holding shift and press f2 worked thx also controls are only customisble with keyboard and also i was fighting a boss and died and lost some progress bc u didnt put a save place next to it

o i didnt know u made this in a jam in menu i saw that there werent much upgrades so i guess u couldnt work on many upgrades to

ok i think i deleted the save so i will try to play some of the game with keyboard (bc im bad at pc) and then i will re-enter the game and load save and press F2 assuming this should fix the controller bug if it doesnt work then i will have to use a gamepad mapper thx for helping

also idk why this game didnt have any posts yet but im glad im the first one to post

i dint expect u to make another game and it would be in 3d but so far the game is great on controller if u press lb i guess u can lock on idk when i did that it would make the charecter strafe and make the camera zoom in until the button is no longer held also i dont think u added a map in this game bc i didnt see one in the menu which is gonna make exploration harder unlike the other games anyway i like the game so far good job :D

so yestarday i was playing this game with my controller, and now it doesnt work with controller at all so can u pls fix

i like that u made this game inspired by zelda 2

so the game is decent but the game is good all u just need to fix is the overworld bug add metriodvania ascpects and fix controller support and the game will be better

2.bugs 

in the game i somehow noclipped through the terrain and was able to walk on water but couldnt het back on the ground forcing a restart i also noticed that in the overworld u have to use the arrow keys to move while in the caves and other areas u get keyboard and controller support

1. the game is not a metriodvania 

the game does have upgrades but not areas that reqiure a certain ability to get through and there are no metriodvania abilites ur just getting abilities to increase ur dmg def and hp

so far the game is decent

I remember playing this game a long time ago, and I still do. The game is great, but there was some stuff that was stuck on. In the forest area, there was a heart piece that i was trying to find but i could never figure out how to get it. And at the lava area, i was in this cave with rocks that had numbers on them. I didn't have enough keys to progress, so I tried to figure out the puzzle but couldn't. I did manage to beat the boss but can you tell me what i am supposed to do at the lava area and how to get that heart piece? thx

So far with the game there have been some problems. If you play in fullscreen your game will suddenly crash. And after getting the first upgrade and exiting the cave area when i opened the menu the game instantly crashed with an error message saying "Out of Memory!". I don't know if this is because my laptop is low end and I need a more powerful device, but i will continue playing it. So far game is great.

yeah, the watcher can be hard for newcoming players, what i would recommend doing at the first boss which is the watcher is hit him with the sword when ur behind him and when he stops try to get into a position that would allow u to dodge his fireballs, i hope this tip worked

thanks, anyway the next thing u should do is go to the room where u found the compass then double jump on the ledge on the right, u will see a bar dash through it and continue through the passage, u will enter that house that u couldnt get in before and the missing village, in the chest contains the red hood equip in the menu and talk to the guy thats blocking the other guy with a red hood in the mountains, then u can enter inside that area he was blocking u from entering the name is spider church i think inside will be another boss and will contain the item u need to enter narrow passageways, let me know if u need any more help

can u pls add strafing for gamepad and map camera movement to right stick? that would make controls a lot easier on gamepad

in the game if u find the emerald ring, u can use ur actions freely without having to use stamina

the game was great, and the best thing i liked about it was the meteor site soundtrack

so i found out how to get the dash upgrade but i got stuck again i managed get this bug and some upgrades but other than that i need help

i found out how to solve ur promblem, try going down the bridges, take u down another bridge with a room on the left, there should be a well that has a skull between its to chandlers, then if u go back to the top and interact it should open the room downwards and give u the next upgrade, man i cant believe i didnt notice this sooner (sorry for misspelling)

o srry, i didnt know and i figured out how to zoom in with the map, so it looks like the item i need to put in that well is too high for me to reach, but i will what until u help me i just wanted to know why u havent responded to my comments in a while thx
