wish this game had controller support

is the itch io download jus the demo and i have to pay for it on steam to get the full game

even when i was sprinting i couldnt jump high enough to reach the gap

im assuming the next ability will be a double jump ability in the second level 

i was in the second level i couldnt get back to the exit bc there was a small gap that was to high for me to reach another in the first level is where i got another heart shard but also couldnt escape bc of a too high platform

o well i dont think anyone would be stupid to do that if u do add this when a person presses delete it should say "are you sure" so that way u cant acciedently delete ur save u dont have to add this but it would be helpful thats why i disabled saving in settings

sometimes when u enter burger flip if u dont have the correct ability u cant exit the area and ur doomed which i hate

yea like u dont have to always make ur metriodvanias short take ur time theres no rush and if players do get lost u should add a map

so abt ur metriodvanias they are good but they have like very little backtracking and are more linear making them more like platformers i like ur games but im jus pointing out that the metriodvanias are more on the linear side just saying

would it hurt to still add controller support tho ik i can use a gamepad mapper but i would rather play with offical controller support

bought the full version on my switch 1 and xbox one havent beat it yet but so far is good for wonder boy/zelda 2 style game cant wait for the sequel

u can 100% it u jus have to try to beat the game in one setting and may have to look up a guide to get through some stuff

i dont think u can save last time a played when i exited without entering main menu it didnt save going back to the main menu would also delete the save

i havent played this game in a long time its rlly good i was able to beat it but not 100% it bc in the volcano biome there was one cave where i could get through it was some type of number puzzle that i was never able to solve how do solve that puzzle bc i rlly want to beat the second boss sense a already beat the 1st and last one

when are u going to continue working on this game i havent played this in a long time and so far its rlly good

bro i already said ur game does support controller the only thing not mapped is respawn and that fine however i would have movement mapped to left stick and dpad too i usally prefer playing most 2d platforms with the dpad for move ty

nvm jus played it for a few secs and it does support controller joystick for movement A for jump and B for shoot u still can only respwan with pressing the r key

does the game have controller support? if not can u pls add it? ty

u have to find it first and to slide u must hold down and press z (a for controller, u must have the as far as i can remember u must first have the speed boots, jump boots, and bommerang before u find u should enter a room that has a laser blocking the room below and a red circle in it too, hit it with ur boomerang and it will break and the laser disappers giving u acecss to the room below, hope this helped

ok so u did map the gamepad controls like it wanted however the game is so unfinished i cant semm to progress bc everything is blocked and the game isnt really a metriodvania i assume that the game is a work on progress but good game
