Put the statue on the left of the pebble. Go to right side of the pebble. Take the statue and finish the path.

If not, that would probably help with the repetitive questions ;-P
And do I need certain stats to get that close? Or do I need to put it down after every step, then take it from the other side and repeat that all along the way? - Sounds exhausting ^_^

There's only one pebble, so after getting the statue back you just walk to the finish line. Another way to finish it is that you Agility Stat gives you more steps, you can basically skip the puzzle if you have high Agility.
