Did you find yourself wondering about great things you wish you could do in the game ? Or perhaps little life improvements to make it more ergonomic ? Here's the place to share your thoughts and ideas with me !

The only thing that comes to mind is, when the Guardian is sleeping on the second day, an Anthony interaction/conversation about him.

I've never seen your work before so let me just start by saying wow you are super talented!  I'm trying to unlock every memory and I just thought maybe a helpful quality of life thing would be if you gave us a hint when we moused over a memory we are missing.  Not sure if that makes it too easy for us players to find them or not but just something I was thinking, thanks for reading :)

Just since you seem open to creative suggestions I have an idea X) so maybe there's an especially dangerous prisoner in solitary confinement that you might happen upon.  The guardians only check his cell once a week so depending on when you carelessly venture into his confinement you might have spent several days trapped with him before the guardians find you.  Just an idea I had XD

Boring mod ON.

I have some thoughts about the transformation of the main character. As I understand it at the moment there are 3 of them, but only one is available. Rats. This makes it possible to safely get into the caves under sewer and hang out with rats.

Suggestion №1: Rat. Since rats are from the sewer, turning into a rat chimera should lower some charisma points and chance. I would not trust a "rat". And since rats are very tenacious creatures and with a good scent, that is a bonus to endurance and perception if use smell command.
Suggestion №2: Fungus. As I understand it, the main character can interact with mushroom "tunnels" and absorb their essence. According to the idea, this should turn him into the same monster as the guardian, but not sure. And what bonuses this can give is also not clear. For example. The main characters can become a grotesque creature with wriggling tentacles, it will badly affect his charisma. On the other hand, symbiosis with mushrooms can give him an aura of pheromone spores and charisma will increase. Or intellegence. Fungus can grow in the head, which can impair brain function, but it can also help to better understand the properties of other fungal clusters. Too many ambiguities.
Suggestion №3: Boar. I came across this transformation only through Anthony. I guess turning into a boar will make you bigger and stronger. Probably. And can given the opportunity to interact with the guardian in a dark room in the second phase.
Suggestion №4: Hybridization? Why not?
Suggestion №5: Not happy ending. I did not understand how the main character ended up in prison. And where is this prison located. But I think, sooner or later, he should learn how to go back and then, if he does not maintain his humanity, then this can cause problems.

Hiya ! So in order :
1: This is very true and gives me some insight on how to better implement the stats mechanics with the transformations.

2: The Fungal mess that takes over the player is a result of him staying too long amongst mushrooms, or teasing them too much. Some are there to help, for instance the pod actually feeds on corrupting substances, as it was a summon of Rohan. This is "spoiler" territory but honestly more teaser, Rohan was the court wizard of the Toad King and used of his magic to assist him into creating mind slaves with his fungus. Cocoon like pods are breeding the Guards with gluey spores every cycle to keep them in check. These fluids leaks from the pipes as reject and cross the player's cell. Technically the Player should indeed become a guard for a few turns until the cycle is over and the effect wears off. It'll also be part of a side quest sequence integral to companionship called "Thought corruption" that will have the player solve escape rooms in his own mind. 

3: You can actually do that as a Rat already for the Guardian interaction. Boar has been laid out there for later development, but I will admit it is for the time being redundant and not priority. I consider instead a partial transformation to grand a character a spiral cock with the ability to plug others much like the Guardian Amaïr.

4: Due to the fact I have to reimagine the entire dungeon for every new transformation, adapt assets, scenes and such, it's unfortunately not a possibilty. Combinations of transformations would multiply too much my workload and I'd feel it would be a bit too random to be really worth the efforts.

5:There's a huge town and many NPCs outside of this dungeon waiting for him, I just decided to start working with a dungeon because it was much more manageable and would faster act as a pertinent demo.  The town would act as a hub world and you would need to find dungeons hidden across suspicious locations. Why would you get back there ? Many reasons : Temptations, Rescue missions, Greed for power, Thirst of knowledge, etc. The player is planned to escape this dungeon, once I get the pieces into place I will open pathways to further explore.

This isn't a huge suggestion, but I played through the game for quite a while before realizing that "Companions" was a separate tab from items when trading with the rat. The positioning of the text makes it seem like your companions would show on the right, and items on the left. I thought it was just glitching and not showing the companions for me, and it wasn't very obvious that you had to click on the word to go to the other tab. Maybe if you added a graphic at the top, sort of like browser tabs, it would be a little more obvious?

I hear you there, and you're absolutely right, I think I need to redesign a lot of the screens in general but this is definitely a priority. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Maybe dating a character? Like if you escape the place you can take them with you or just stay there. Another thing is maybe you can build a relationship with the guardians or Anthony and Cyril

My thoughts on the game.

It is definitely not clear to me that you can type words for the input action. I honestly thought it was just a useless action. I had to go to itch.io to find that was even possible. I would suggest removing it, and replacing the ??? interactions with actual words. Because some interactions are not repeatable, I don't think spending time guessing on what to do is useful. For example The first time I meet Rohan,  he has 6 ??? options.  and I would just skip those options because the "use" option is right there. After playing a few times, I finally learnt about the other options, like invite, enter, touch, smell, and talk. I had to go to Itch.io to learn there was a talk and invite option, and I still can't guess what that last ??? is. This would simplify your writing process and coding because there would be no weird actions.

Also reactions commands felt confusing to use. It took me like 10 minutes to understand you needed to click on the italicized words once they are highlighted by your modes. I kept double clicking the modes cause that seemed more intuitive. If some modes are not available, I would grey out the those modes and just leave the others highlighted.

Hey, thank you for taking a moment to review the alpha. I agree on the fact the input system isn't very clear yet. I've changed the way it pops out fairly recently and I was so happy with my work I dismissed the need to polish it. I know it may seems like something to get rid of solely for that reason, however I wish to keep this gameplay mechanic for several reasons :

  1. Players seem to like the fact not every answer is handed to them on a plate. When they find something, it's their own discovery, not something anyone could have found by button mashing. The ??? are there to signify the player, however small they might be, there are still things they haven't tried. It's also handy to keep track of what's been tried and to re-enter such actions quickly if needed.
  2. I'm purposely inspiring myself from the open nature of text adventure games and am trying to make it as seamless as possible to describe your actions with long lists of synonyms. I'm working on an easier mode for relevant actions to show up so typing isn't mandatory.
  3. Concerning weird actions, they might seem superfluous but I believe it part of the pleasure to test how far you can tease the game with curious ideas. Like, why would you lick the cell bars ? I don't know, but now the narration just judged you for having the idea. A bit like a roleplaying adventure where the GM has to deal with the crazy ideas of his players, some of them might actually be quite clever so it's always good to give at least acknowledgment that "Yes, this is an action recognised by the game". I believe it encourages the player to think out of the box. I for myself, prefer a small but dense game with many interaction-able parts rather than a large world where most of what's to see is just a cardboard cut-out and you're almost punished for not thinking like the devs want you to.
  4. I believe it's part of the charm of the adventure to not discover the same things as another player, even if that means missing on content. I work hard on making each path interesting and to have multiple solutions to the same problems.

I will continue to make the input system clearer and perhaps provide a list of suggested actions in the tutorial, I'm simply trying not to spoil or influence the player into one or another path. I believe I need to make the Input box a lot more inviting to type in.

Concerning the reaction commands, since several keywords can show up in the same sentence and due to the nature of this part of the code from Ren'py, it is difficult for me to act accordingly to what is displayed outside of the text zone itself. I will admit I purposely made the reaction keywords italicized so they wouldn't be too obvious to the player. I wanted them to "think twice" before realising a character said a certain word that should have caught his attention.  I'm worried if I made the system too obvious that the players would just mash every possible reaction word. Perhaps a little icon aside the keyword and instead of having a mode to activate before hand, a menu with the available actions ? I'm not sure how to code this with the twisted way I've managed to make this even work in the first place, but I'll have to try.

I will do my best to fix these issues, I've listed them.

Hi, I just played the game & I think its great. :) The 'memories' section and the tips are great for getting an overview of how much of the game is discovered.

Already sorta been suggested, but Im having difficulties with discoverability of actions though. I'd love if there was a cheat-toggle in the settings which reveals the ??????s to the actions that work.  Currently its taking quite a bit of effort to open the action/type, wait for the error result, re-open the prompt, try again, re-open, try again etc...

I think it would be awesome if you could have members of your sanctuary potentially have NSFW scenes together. For example, Rodolphe implies to Anthony that if Anthony ever wanted it, he could change him into a rat as well, but we don't have the option to make that happen. It would be neat to be able to do that :)

Oh my good friend, trust me when I say this, it is very much planned and I'm happy you're on the same boat! The sanctuary will eventually become a place of its own, with rooms and such. It's not coming just yet, but it's not far down the line either. 

1 I had the thought that you could add a prompt for sounding and I know that it's not a thing for everyone and it fuck cock. 

2 I had the thought that the ability to do magic could be what you get for saving the fairy king just as one of the ways to get it.

3 Possibly with the help of Anthony you could fuck the Guardian rather than having to be a Rat chimera.

4 Maybe the player could talk to Rohan and get a resupply of sayter cum and this could work for other people as well.

5 the golem there could be other transformers bast on a few of the other creatures like the golem, or the spider maybe one later on could be a horse.

Hi ! Thank you for your suggestions, I'll answer them in order :

1) I'm not against sounding, although I would need to think what could be used to do so. There's always a hint that I like it when you see Cyril getting used by the slime.

2) Good job on figuring that out actually! It is a planned feature. As of now, two magic spells are planned to be learned by either the Red Fey King or Byzeff. The first is a spell of teleportation, the second a spell to backup your human nature.  After all, they need you to complete these spells in order to free them.

3) It could be, as of now I would struggle to justify how Anthony would manage to become vicious enough to take advantage of a monster, he would need a bit of training to get there. Something to consider adding later down the road but definitely not off the board.

4) That is planned feature, although the player will need to train Rohan and his own ability to dominate others. That or of course he could always bargain for it.

5) I had this in mind and I'm still considering it, however the design somewhat requires the transformed host to have hands, I could come up with alternate designs down the line.

First I would like to say that I was a little shocked that I was able to guess about the magic but now that I think about it the both are getting the player too help them do magic.

1 A way that it the other transformations could work is a centaur or Minotaur situation. The spider it could be like the last two or the player could grow two extra set of arms or one set of arms and one of legs. The golem could hardly change the shape but it would make the body grow rock and Crystal like extension's and Hardin the skin.

2 I want to suggest vore and you may have shown that it is a possibility with the guardian and the fungus pod but if it doesn't work for you as a preference that is fine the game is great without it and in my opinion would just be better with it but you are the one making it.

2) I'm not against vore, just against harming a character through the process. I'm more favourable to absorption or assimilation. Toads will swallow you whole in their belly as it's a pocket they use like a prison.

Maybe the main character could have some way of doing that and more. I remember that you said that there would be other rooms in the sanctuary well one of those rooms could be a dungeon or like a prison and maybe one of the other characters could be like the warden of said prison. The way the player would place someone in the prison is by swallowing them rather than them just being pulled into the sanctuary because they are accepted in they are forcefully pulled into a specific part of the sanctuary which is the prison. Another room could be connected directly to the idea of cock vore where it leads to a contamination/decontamination area.

1. For a contamination room the character would be a hybrid of some kind and would be able to contaminate anyone pulled into the contamination area because it seems to be that contamination goes through cum and sexual interaction.

2. For a decontamination room the character much like above would be instead of hybrid would be human and would be able to remove the affliction of any character or creature that is not human if they were human to begin with otherwise it will create potentially a hybrid effect.

3. For the dungeon it could also double as a playroom if you will essentially all characters within the dungeon area are used as a way of sexual relief for other people in the sanctuary who are not locked in the dungeon and as a way to induce the idea of loyalty to the player and to the characters in the sanctuary.

4. Anal vore could be used as a direct path to an area similar to the sewers, swamp, caves, a farm like area and the way it would work is the fact that those placed in that area help to supply the player and all others in the sanctuary with food if time still flows similarly no matter where they're at.

5. Another effect with the cock vore is that if they choose not to be decontaminated or contaminated they will be an amplification through assimilation as a result the players stats and come load could be changed to have different effects based on whether it's when they have absorbed or not. The assimilation would not be fatal in any way shape or form and they would not completely vanish what I believe what happened is they would then be forced into the milking room which would essentially equate to the players prostate area and essentially they would be milked continually for their cum any player could interchange what their balls are loaded with as they see fit based on the interaction and if you want to leave the character the same or change them without having to be a completely different creature or some sort of hybrid.

6. An idea I just had is that there could also be what I have come to the term of cock fucking and essentially it's like the process of sounding but with somebody else's dick going down your dick and this could be a process that could happen with characters with a larger cock size or smaller cock size then the player and the player wants to have some changes rather than it always being up the ass or swallowed for the conversion to begin maybe the player gets their balls loaded with another creatures loaded.

7. Another idea I had was the concept of the almost impregnation that comes with the slime maybe there is a way that the character could become impregnated with a similar entity or creature through the cock and maybe this is what leads the character to be able to cock vore.

8. Another idea for all of this is that the player can set up situational events for characters that will not and cannot be in the sanctuary. A demonstration of this is the man at the mechanical room with the dog creature for instance forcefully stripping the man of his ass covering gets the dog to mount him and you could join in possibly and maybe as a result rather than getting the man you get the dog creature on your side and add him to the sanctuary or potentially you could add both as a result of doing his quest and getting him fucked by the dog creature.

9. Hopefully the final idea for this at the moment your thoughts on mpreg and based on the idea with the slime and Rohan and potentially what you have planned for the stone golem eggs you seem to be receptive of it. A thought I had is that the player could also become impregnated with non-egg laying  creatures and the way this would work is near the bladder through the prostate the player would have a womb of some type The reason I say through the prostate is because the prostate would work much like the cervix keeping me baby in until the player gives birth. I do believe that the character would take the same amount of time as with the slime or the stone golem eggs potentially as to not inconvenience the play of the rest of the game. Another thing that could happen is that while the player is pregnant with an actual baby the creatures that the player may interact with and had sex with maybe able to impregnate the player again while they are still pregnant or potentially impregnate the baby and convert the baby into a hybrid for a tribrid even. The baby could be automatically added to the sanctuary as a nondescript unless you so choose creature that could convert the player into a chimera or hybrid of it for easy access two different conversions.

P.S. sorry this one is so long I just kept having ideas pop into my head that I wanted to suggest and that is all these are are suggestions you are still the Creator and so far you've been creating something amazing despite the fact it's just you you have no help and it's already this amazing that people want to try and help in any way they can.

Thank you again for your suggestions! This was a lot to take in so we’ll go in order:

1 and 2, I’m not sold on the cock vore idea, but perhaps more of a tail vore like Cell from DBZ. Following that path, I think absorption of creatures and NPCs is very likely, the player would just need to work on his Incubus rather “evil” side to unlock such behaviour. The tail itself could be acquired from any and all creature he meets, it would be absorbed by the spell taught by Byzeff and manifest itself whenever needed.  I’m not opposed to the idea of making an NPC or creature being converted into an organ like suggested in 5 where you could tap into a their attributes at will. This would be essentially an upgrade over Byzeff’s spell that can only randomly absorb traits, here you could even take the full appearance or only isolate like you said, the trait desired while remaining human looking.

3 is pretty much a must.

4 I’m not fond of the correlation between Ass and Sewers/Swamp. Hunger wouldn’t be an existing concept in those sexual driven dungeons, so food isn’t really food as much as it is a mean to absorb various effects.

5 I revolve more around this idea of milking the captives for their abilities like the player does when swallowing Rohan’s soul. Nothing would really be permanent so it would require a lot of work to keep the host stable … like not going against their principles.

6, well surprisingly I’m not against sounding but dick fucking isn’t really working for me if it’s just two regular dicks. I think it’s due to the nature of a cock being rather thick than long compared to the urethra. My counter idea would be to use more slender appendages like tendrils that could dive deeper into it and stretching only reasonable the tube.

7, so slimes would essentially just parasite the entire system until they reach maturity. Toads are usually already in symbiotic relationship with them and will cum slime coated cum eggs to impregnate their partners. That put aside, to join with point 9, in those realms it doesn’t really matter if you hold a womb as your body is vulnerable by concept rather than biology alone. This means the concept of being impregnated is a mean to invade your body and soul with what I call a daemon, an emerging property of the sea of thoughts. Without diving too much into the lore, consider it being a creature of simple concepts bred into your mind, body and soul. Much like hosts within your body, they will influence your decision and sometimes even impose unavoidable restrictions (like the mushrooms in your cell) that will require work to circumvent.

It’s not possible to create new entities within these dungeons, these realms are too restricted to allow growth like in the human world. That is why Incubi trap people into them, although they consider it more being selective with their citizens. The human world is very chaotic and lacks a coherent theme, but that’s why it can create new concepts and new beings.

While you cannot give birth, you may replicate a creature’s body like the slime does in you. It’s not a new consciousness, it’s more like expanding its influence. This is what being impregnated means in Incubus Realms: Being imbued with the influence of other creatures, over your body, mind and/or soul. Sex will therefore have consequences such as: Transformation, used to expand the creature’s body, mind controlled, cursed, or blessed. A side note on the matter, if you’ve read the comic, there is a scene where some creatures go through the victim’s body to rebirth. This process is to ensure they can trick the human realm into thinking it’s a member of its world, since you’re born from a human, technically. This doesn’t last long, and the host may lose all of its humanity after only a few creatures go through.

I agree with kyoboar cock vore with the Fae King would be cool and could be a path out of the dungeon but in to a whole new one.
