I played through what was available.

Some feedback:

1. It seems like there's variable jump height, whihc makes jumping up to a fixed spear a little hit and miss sometimes. 14:15 and 15:00

 2. Perhaps a thicker, darker outline for the text to make it stand out against brighter backgrounds. The start of the game and 12:15

 3. Upper floors of the forest biome look like they're connected to the lower floor according to the minimap.

 4. Unclear what the purpose of gem fragments are.

 5. Breakable blocks not very visually prominent.

 6. Slipping off end of wall-spear-platform. Not ideal for a platformer. 5:45

 7. The Human/Seed transition needs to be HELD but the control scheme doesn't make that clear, nor is there any animation/gauge to suggest that it needs to be held to make it clear that it's non-instant.

 8. Upwards tile colour (the top of crawlspaces, etc.) blends into the bottom of the forest BG decently. The buzzsaws seem to have a similar visual issue with the cave BG. I was watching this back on youtube though, which has it's own compression issues.

 9. I know it's a WIP, but does the shortcut at 10:55 need to be blocked up and require an ability that you only get towards the end of the demo?

 10. VISUAL BUG - Visually duplicated spear 12:34

 11. Seed Bomb is obtained after beating 2nd boss, yet hint mentions a dash immediately afterwards. Another post here mentions getting a dash and double jump so I assume I missed them somewhere(?). Seems odd for the new power-up to NOT be the first thing you'd have to use right after getting it.

Thanks a bunch for the play through video and the feed back!  I added it all to my notes :D

They progression order is still really odd from extending on the game jam version with 5 bosses close together (so the players could finish the game quickly)  I'm working on the new zones now so I can flesh out the critical pathing better.

I will go through and make fixes as suggested.

Thanks again!

For other spear-related platforming games I can recommend taking a look at these:

Hello! Your YouTube video really helped me a lot last time~ If you have time, I would love to see another for the current state of the game :D

Sure, I'll try to get around to it sometime this week.

Awesome~! Hopefully there's no game breaking bugs heh.

There were two occasions where I had two functional spears on screen, one in my hand and one stuck in the walls that eventually merged back together if they both got to my hand.
