I can understand you have been struggling with your ideas, but focus on the story first and aesthetics second. If things don't make sense, and the graphics don't match the depictions either, as well as the coding logic when it comes to stats and items etc. (it says one thing but does another, the display and code do not equal each other), then you stand to have a big problem where making progress or understanding what is going on, is more than a simple feeling of lost, more like cannot continue. It is exhausting to express my feelings this way.
