Hi, fyi ... experiencing the same sound behaviour on Linux Mint / Lenovo X1 laptop (no VM).

@TallstorygamesI've tested it on my main desktop with PulseAudio running, no sound problems on this machine - also running Linux Mint latest. I think it narrows this down to some driver the engine uses (OpenAL maybe)
