Considered writing a novel?  You definitely have a knack for the verbose!
Often it is the creator who is harshest on themselves and noticing things that others would completely gloss over.  As an example, animators will pick apart and notice 'bad' things and mistakes and freeze-frame something that would only appear in the show for a fraction of a second just to highlight a single mistake or two.

If you keep going at it like that you're gonna fizzle and burn yourself out hard one of these days.  Be proud of what you've done and be thankful it isn't like a competition thing for prizes :P

You have a good talent set and should strongly consider commissioning yourself publicly for some paid work if your current schedule permits it.

Appreciate the devlog postings.  Enjoy the accomplishment for you and the entire team!  Awesome work :)

Addendum:  Had a comment on the itch.io game page here.  While I'm happy you used an open-source font, I don't believe it works well for legibility.  Becomes difficult to tell the difference between letters/numbers like so:  l I 1 o O 0 and so on.  I would recommend something like the 'Liberation' font family such as Liberation Sans or Liberation Serif.  There's many others but it is a minor nitpick of mine, that's all.

Hehe x3 I have a knack for rambling like a crazy woman :P Could really do with someone to come along and just condense everything I say!

That's very true! Just always difficult to keep in mind when a million faults are leaping out at you >.<

I'm trying to avoid completely burning out by taking things easy at the moment at least :3 October is always a super busy month for me anyways because scare attractions <3 haha. So I've got that occupying me more than anything. I'll probably try to return to projects properly in November but much more casually again :3 Speaking of prizes, I'm interested to see who ends up winning the big money this year! I've played a few of the other entries so far that I'd definitely say must be in for a shot, but then again, I'm not a judge, so I don't really know what they're looking for, haha. I feel like the shortlist will wind up being longer than last year because there are so many quality games it's nuts :D

As always, I don't have any faith in either of my team's projects winning anything xD But that's fine because that's not why I entered anyways :3 I'm just utterly in love with spooky season and will take any opportunity to start celebrating early :P Spooktober VN Jam is like my warm-up for October, haha.

Sadly, I'm still in a position where I can't accept anything other than donations >.< and that's unlikely to change in the foreseeable future since I'm essentially stuck in a system that stamps out any sort of pathway to growth :( But it is what it is! Maybe one day I'll finally be able to earn some actual income doing this sort of thing :3

That's interesting about the font cos I was actually thinking the same thing about the one I used on the GS page, so I assumed this comment you posted was on the GS page's postmortem, but now I see it's on DotD's! I only used the ones I did because I was trying to use the same ones as the main text printers in-game, but I do agree, it's not the easiest to read on the itch page >.< Font size certainly doesn't help because it seems easy enough to read in-game, but it's much larger, and itch won't allow me to increase the size any further for the page than the way it's displayed now. I'll have to check out the Liberation ones and others and see if I can find a better fit! :3
