Absolutely love the art style! I think a negative and positive sound would've made this much easier to understand if I was playing it right. I thought I was shooting thugs but my left number (which I assume is my score based on the screenshot) always stayed at 0? I racked up misses really easily and I thought maybe my controls weren't even registering but I was able to start and restart the game. I was using SDF because I don't have a number pad.
