If you buy it on itch.io you will get a free steam key when it happens. :)

I haven't decided exactly when to launch it yet. Some of it will depend on how it evolves over the coming few months. My goal is to make it awesome enough to warrant raising the price, then launch it on Steam with a big bang of new content!

There could certainly be a free demo, but right now I am dedicating all my resources to improving the game for people who have bought it.

Hey, can you answer a few questions please?

1. are you single dev or a small team or big team?

2. what engine you use?

3. how did you came with this awesome idea?

thanks ahead!

Sure thing!

  1. Most of it has been me toiling alone, but recently I've been joined by a full time QA person (Jonathan Palen) as well. In addition to that two other people have done some part time work: Dana Nelson has been instrumental in designing the difficulty curve for Endless Mode and many of the funniest commentator lines are written by Albert Lai.
  2. I use Unity. Voxel models designed in Qubicle and Magicavoxel. Voice Audio generated by the Mac command line.
  3. The idea sprung out of a tech exploration, while I was taking a break from another project. I'd been working a lot with voxels, so I was curious if I could dynamically cut them with a sword. The format of the commentators talking about you rather than to you came from a little prototype I built for the last Global Game Jam:

Awesome!

Thanks for answering!

will we get a steam key if we just have it downloaded?

and do we have to buy it again if we just downloaded it?

Everyone who have bought it here will get a Steam key. You will not need to buy it again.

(1 edit)

If it's on your Itch thing it will be on your Steam thing.
