Gah how in the world did you make that reflecting sound wave, that's brilliant! The music was on point, and damn a boss battle too? Though I wish you'd used the echolocation in the boss battle, it did feel a bit odd that the game became a bullet hell and ditched the main mechanic that had made the game stand out. It fit thematically to have that crazy angel dude but if you'd used the echo mechanic in the fight that'd made it that much more memorable. Still though amazing job alex, nice seeing another great game from you!

The waves are just an array of points that with some raycasting and stuff reflect from the walls and reveal those walls.
But the reason the echolocation was ditched is that (spoiler alert) the sun was revealed so does the light, basically, you can now see the world and there was no reason to use abstract shapes and echolocation. I agree that probably I should've used the echolocation at the end in some way, but I wanted to create a "WHAT?" effect on the player and disorient them. And I think I did it??
