*(Revisiting for some more in-depth feedback)

Took me a while to actually start playing this because I was having so much fun chilling in the menu, watching the fishies swim & bopping around to the music. Once I started playing it did take a little while to understand what I was doing, but once I did I had a lot of fun. I can see this as a good game to try & do trick shots with (I did this myself by playing around on the stair-like parts of the reef). It had smooth movements & gravity implementation, which gave the fish a more dynamic feeling while playing for me. I would have loved to have some kind of big consequence if you stayed out of water for too long though. Overall a really nice game!

What I liked the most: The art! The little fish are so freaking cute, I'm actually obsessed with how you've managed to give these little pixel dudes so much personality with their silly little expressions.

What could be improved on: Whilst I appreciate a dash/run feature in a game - I would love the option in a settings menu or something to also have this enabled using shift/some kind of key press because it was sooo hard to play on a laptop. Also maybe making the tutorial a bit more obvious, or forcing the tutorial on start would be useful to help get used to the game quicker. It took me a while to understand what I was doing tbh.

TLDR; Can't go wrong with a fishing game (even if you ARE the fish)! Really cute art with fun music to go with it. 10/10, loved spinning the little fish around.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! I will add that things to the game with an update after the jam voting period :)
