The moderators on your discord appear to be white supremacists
There are other things they do (ban Black positivity, etc.) but the Israel thing is very telling. What secret message is being sent by the flag of Israel? Why is it suspicious? What do the mods think Israel's flag means? The mods are very clearly anti-Black and anti-Jew therefore the only reasonable conclusion is they're White Supremacists.
Yeah, I've noticed some of this too. Either that or their enforcement is all over the place. They seem to aggressively stand against Black and Jewish people and justify it as "no hate baiting". They say no politics but what they really mean is no WRONG politics AKA: politics is fine as long as you agree with them. For example, I pointed out that in Japanese version of GGST Bridget is not trans (he literally says "I'm a boy" after GL mistakenly calls him a girl) but because of the EN version mistranslated "otoko" the mods took action against me for "hateful conduct" despite me being able to back up my case with literal source material. I left the server at that point because if you can't reason with mods using logic there's really no point.
apolitical people don't ban people for reacting to a message with Israel's flag. Again, the reason provided was "it spreads a message" but the mod could not (or would not) elaborate on the message. The most reasonable assumption is the mod would be ashamed to admit the message aloud. Typically these are racist opinions. Mods are white supremacists
I mean, supporting Palestine itself, being a terrorist government is its own problem. But if you want to go the apolitical route you either have to allow everything or disallow everything. They clearly allow some but not others therefore, not apolitical. There's nothing controversial about Israel and suggesting there is something controversial is generally an antisemitic take. So now I have to guess that you too, are probably antisemitic.

I am not antisemitic, the Israeli government has blown apart random Palestinian children and civilians. And I cannot support that, at all.
How this is entwined in white supremacy really does worry me about you.
