Is the art drawn by hand? Really like the simplicity of the controls. Speed of the character vs the speed of the boss weapons was perfect in my opinion.

Thanks for the compliments! You could say that the art is hand drawn, my test for this jam was just making assets in photoshop alone to see how the animation timeline worked for planning (consensus, meh) so you can say that it was done by hand. Stuff link the background and other static assets were just quick illustrations that were then tweaked in Unity.
